Domestic Call Leads To Meth Arrests

SILVER LAKE - A call about a domestic fight led to the arrest of four people on drug charges Monday night near Silver Lake.

Around 10:42 p.m. Monday, officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department and the Silver Lake Police Department were called to a residence at 9461 S. County Farm Road, Silver Lake, for a domestic complaint.[[In-content Ad]]Officers arrived at the home and saw several items that can be used to make methamphetamine and called the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force.

Once members of the Drug Task Force arrived, they confirmed that there was an active meth lab in the residence, and three people at the residence were arrested.

Justin Forrest Vining, 29, of 610 S. Lake St., Warsaw, and Tabitha Lynn Vining, 26, of 9641 S. County Farm Road, Silver Lake, both were arrested for manufacturing/dealing methamphetamine and battery.

Ronald Lee Bailey, 40, of 12595 S. CR 700W, Silver Lake, was arrested for manufacturing/dealing methamphetamine.

All three are being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on $10,000.

While police were at the home, a fourth person, Brian Jason Caudill, 31, of 7846 N. CR 400E, Leesburg, drove up to the residence and was found to have an outstanding warrant.

Caudill was arrested on a warrant for ephedrine restriction or violation of sale and is being held on a $1,000 bond.

The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab team was called to the residence to secure and stabilize the methamphetamine lab.
