George Harold Dome, Sidney, will celebrate his 95th birthday Oct. 5, 2011.

He still lives on the farm where he was born, north of Sidney, with his wife of 68 years, Norma Heeter Dome.

He served in the Pacific during World War II and worked at Priser’s Cleaners, North Manchester; Sidney Feed Mill; and retired from Carey Construction in 1985.

He is an avid gardener and enjoys spending time with his family, which includes John (and spouse Shirley) Dome, Sidney; Ruth Dome, Hyden, Ky.; Tom (and spouse Nancy Dome, South Whitley; and Nancy (and spouse Dennis) Patton, Franklin; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He would enjoy hearing from friends and family to help celebrate this milestone.[[In-content Ad]]
