George and the former Norma Heeter were married at Sidney Christian Church by the Rev. O.V. Rector April 24, 1943.
George is a World War II veteran, having served in the Pacific. He is a retired farmer and formerly worked for Carey Construction Co.
Norma was an assistant librarian at South Whitley Schools and is a homemaker.
They are the parents of John (and spouse Shirley) Dome, Sidney; Ruth Ann Dome, Hyden, Ky.; Tom (and spouse Nancy) Dome, South Whitley; and Nancy (and spouse Dennis) Patton, Franklin; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
They would enjoy receiving cards and visits from neighbors and friends. A family dinner will celebrate the occasion.
