Dog Murdered

I work for a company placing orders for customers and then delivering their products. The company I work for then hires a delivery company to deliver these items to my house.
We live out in the county and have three dogs. Two of our dogs are always tied up and the third very rarely leaves the yard as we have an underground fence.
On Oct. 4, I left the house to run a quick errand around 3 p.m. When I left the house my order had not been delivered yet. When I returned home a short time later, with my two children in the back seat, we discovered our dachshund in the driveway dead, but wouldn't you know that my delivery was there.
I know for a fact that there was no one else at my house in the short amount of time I was gone. We don't have any family that lives here and had plans later that evening with friends, so there was no one at my house.
What kind of heartless person runs over your dog and doesn't even leave a note for you to come home to with your children? My 7-year-old son was heart broken. Thank goodness my daughter is only 3 and doesn't fully understand what happened.
We contacted the company I work for and they were more than willing to get the delivery company to take responsibility for the accident. I was told to get any evidence that I could, so we had the vet perform an autopsy, which confirmed the dog was ran over with extensive injuries and he died instantly. When the delivery company first contacted us, it was what can we do for you to make this right. My response was pay for the vet bills and for the value of the dog, so I can replace him for my children. The response I got was that, that was very reasonable and they would call me back.
Two days went by with no response from the company. When I finally called them back they said that their driver denies hitting my dog and that I am required to have my dog either tied up or in a fence.
I contacted law enforcement and made a report and verified with them that this is not true. In the city, the law requires your dog to be in a fence or tied up, but in the county your dogs are only required to be on your property. When I informed the delivery company of this, she simply changed her answer to they are not responsible since there weren't any witnesses.
I am looking for anyone that might have been driving by and saw the vehicle in my driveway, or heard my dog scream. Contact me with any information at 574-269-4214. This occurred at 4988 W. 200S, Warsaw, approximately 5 miles west of Ind. 25 on CR 200S.
