David and Sandra Doctor, Warsaw, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Doctor, Warsaw, to Paul Slagle, Fort Wayne. He is the son of Tom and Joann Slagle, Memphis, Tenn. 

The bride-to-be is an accounting intern at Symmetry Medical, Fort Wayne. She graduated from Lakeland Christian Academy, Winona Lake, in 2008 and is currently a senior at Indiana University, Fort Wayne, and will graduate in May 2012, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

The groom-elect is a development engineer at Biomet, Warsaw. He graduated from Homestead High School, Fort Wayne, in 2005 and earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Purdue University, Fort Wayne, in December 2010.
