Ronald L. and Nancy C. Dirck, Warsaw, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house given by their children, Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Shrine building at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds, 1400 E. Smith St., Warsaw.
Ronald and the former Nancy Linn were married June 18, 1965, at First Christian Church of Warsaw, by the Rev. John Becker. They were owners of MAVRON Inc., which manufacturered specialized vehicles for the government since 1973.
The couple dated in high school. They are the parents of four sons: Troy Alan (and spouse Jo) and Sheal Alan Dirck, all of Warsaw; Kristin Lee (and spouse Amy) Dirck, San Francisco, Calif.; and the late Stephen Clark Dirck. They also have seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren: Joshua, Brandi, Kalie, Dana Dirck;  Ashley Dirck (and spouse Mitch) Miller; and Ashley and Hannah Kuhn. They have twin great-grandchildren due this month.

Get To Know The Team: Warsaw Captains Q&A
Earlier this week, I had the privilege of going to a Warsaw football practice and speaking with four of the team’s five captains.
