James and Kim Dietsch, Pierceton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica, Canton, Mich., to Neil Myers, Canton, son of Patrick Myers, Mishawaka, and Jill Johnson, Ivoryton, Conn.

The bride-to-be is a special education teacher with Keystone Academy, Belleville, Mich. She is a 2002 graduate of Wawasee High School and received her bachelor's degree in elementary and special education in 2006 from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.

The groom-elect is a project engineer with Ricardo Inc., Van Buren Township, Mich. He is a 2002 graduate of Mishawaka High School and received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology.

The couple plan a May 26 wedding.
