Diane Kay Baney, 74, of 3762 W. Old 30, Lot 37E, Warsaw, died at 6:10 a.m. March 17, 2007, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born May 13, 1932, in Warsaw, to Cassius Tim and Grace Kinzie Rovenstine. On Aug. 18, 1947, she married DeVerl Baney, who died Dec. 1, 2004.
A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, she owned and operated D&D Café, Warsaw, retiring in 1990. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Atwood.
Surviving are two sons, Rick Baney, Atwood, and Dennis Baney, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a daughter, Sharon Shaffner, Reno, Nev.; four grandsons; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Alan Rovenstine, Atwood. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Otterbein United Methodist Church, Atwood, with Pastor Jerry Thomas officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Mentone Cemetery.
Calling is from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
