She was born Aug. 21, 1940, in Warsaw, to Harold and Mildred Chapman Derry. On Dec. 18, 1965, in Warsaw, she married Frank Grose, who survives.
A lifetime Warsaw resident, she graduated from Warsaw High School in 1958 and was an administrative assistant at Warsaw Wastewater plant from 1988-96 and Oakwood Cemetery from 1996 until retirement in 2010. She attended Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church and was a member of Psi Iota Psi Sorority.
Also surviving are her children, Leigh Ann (and spouse Kevin) Denlinger, Alan (and spouse Tracey) Grose, Jeff (and spouse Rachel) Grose and Jill (and spouse Kevin) Bragg, all of Warsaw; a brother, Jim (and spouse Nancy) Derry, Warsaw; a sister, Christy (and spouse Kirk) Matlock, Memphis, Tenn.; her stepmother, Mary Derry, Warsaw; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A private burial wil be in Oakwood Cemetery at the Cremation Gardens, Warsaw.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw.
