NORTH MANCHESTER – Devona “De” M. Farley, 86, of North Manchester, died at 12:45 a.m. Sept. 1, 2012, in Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester.
She was born July 19, 1926, in Monroe Township, to Walter V. and Agnes Hardman Warner. On April 7, 1946, she married Russell Farley Jr., who died March 14, 2012.
She was a secretary to the superintendent of Whitko School Corp., retiring in 1991 after 23 years. She was a member of North Manchester Missionary Church. She graduated from Sidney High School in 1944.
Surviving are a son, Blaine W. (and spouse Becky) Farley, Fishers; a daughter, Linda (and spouse George) Geaugh, Pierceton; a brother, Maurice (and spouse Janyth) Warner, Pierceton; four grandchildren; a stepgrandchild; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be private at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor Dan Binkley officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
Calling will be private.
