AKRON – Destiny Faith Smith, 9, Rochester, passed away at 9:20 p.m. Aug. 7, 2015, at Riley Hospital For Children, Indianapolis.
She was born April 26, 2006, in South Bend, to Tracy Lynn Smith and Rick Stough.
She was a member of #00423 Fulton County Girl Scouts, Taekwando – Rochester Martial Arts and Deb’s Dance Studio in Rochester. She would have started fourth grade this year at Mentone Elementary School.
Survivors are: her mother, Tracey Schaeffner; step-father, Paul Allen Schaeffner; father, Rick Stough; a brother, Dylan Loeschman; a sister, Autumn Schaeffner; grandparents, Robert M. Smith Sr. and Allan P. and Cindy Schaeffner; and a godmother, Penelope Wagley. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dylan James Stough, and grandparents Barbara Smith and Don and Carolyn Flanagan.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Earl-Love Funeral Home, 811 E. Rochester St., Akron, with Pastor Danny Honeycutt officiating. Burial is in Rochester IOOF Cemetery, Rochester.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
