Jim and Nancy Simmons Derry will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Jan. 16.
They started dating in high school, and were married Jan. 16, 1965. Jim was the owner of Derry Electric in Warsaw, and Nancy is a retired registered nurse.
They have three children: David and Michael Derry and Barb Derry Martz. They also have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The couple are celebrating their special day in sunny Florida. Their winter address is 719 Whippoorwill Lane, Osteen, FL 32764.[[In-content Ad]]

Earlier this week, I had the privilege of going to a Warsaw football practice and speaking with four of the team’s five captains.
