To help address this need, DePuy Orthopaedics is giving a substantial amount of funds to Our Father's House.

"We understand that many charities may be seeing more families in need this holiday season," said David Floyd, worldwide president of DePuy Orthopaedics. "We felt it was important to give back to organizations such as Our Father's House so they may continue to help others in our community."

Organizations such as Our Father's House rely on the community for more than just monetary donations.

"If families have canned food, used clothing or even household items they no longer use, we can put them to good use. Our Father's House is 85 percent self-supported, and so we re-sell items that are donated and put the money back into our soup kitchen and other community services," said Roz Morgan.
