Dennis Michael Mattern, 59, of Manchester, Tenn., died at 12:15 p.m. Aug. 10, 2011, in Rensselaer.
He was born July 14, 1952, in Warsaw, to Carl L. and Bonnie L. Armold Mattern.
He lived most of his life in Bremen. He worked as a truck driver for 43 years. He was employed by T&T Farms, Star City, where he worked for 15 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Plymouth.
Surviving are a daughter, Brandi (and spouse Alfred) Himes, Argos; a son, Shawn Mattern, Bremen;  his mother, Bonnie L. Black, Manchester, Tenn.; a half sister, Melissa Mattern, Bremen; two grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral chapel.
