Dennis Lane “Denny” Nice, 64, of Warsaw, died at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 13, 2012, in his residence.
He was born Dec. 25, 1947, in Warsaw, to James Allen and Reah Maxine Murphy Nice. In 1992, in Plymouth, he married Carol Aman, who survives.
He worked for Kirby Vacuum Co., where he was in the top 31 salesman in the world, retiring in 1990. He lived in 49 of the 50 states while working in sales, including Gautier, Miss. He also was past commander of American Legion Post 49, Warsaw, and served in the honor guard.
Also surviving are a daughter, Lisa Marie Gordan, New Mexico; two stepdaughters, Judy Hygema, Lakeville, and Meschelle Davidhizar, New Paris; a sister, Jan Moore, Plymouth; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and four step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter.
No services or calling are planned. Burial will be in Etna Green Cemetery.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
