NORTH MANCHESTER - Delpha Hackworth, 92, of Warsaw, died at 8:35 a.m. April 26, 2010, in Mason Health & Rehab, Warsaw.

She was born Nov. 27, 1917, in Magoffin County, Ky., to Smith and Goldie Ramey Jackson. On Jan. 15, 1951, she married Adam Hackworth, who died Dec. 19, 1993.

She was a homemaker and retired from the former Bryan Manufacturing, North Manchester.

Surviving are three sons: Danny L. (and spouse Teresa) Hackworth, Silver Lake; Rickie (and spouse Donna) Hackworth, Warsaw; and Randy (and spouse Paula) Hackworth, Roann; two daughters, Connie (and spouse Vellis) Wireman, Gunlock, Ky., and Billie Jean Little, Warsaw; four brothers: Junior Jackson, Silver Lake; Kelly and Eugene Jackson, both of Wabash; and Roy Jackson, Columbia City; two sisters, Amanda Hackworth, North Manchester, and Carmia Barton, Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, nine brothers, a sister and a grandchild.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with the Rev. Joe Necessary officiating. Burial will be in Swank Cemetery, North Manchester.

Calling is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
