NAPPANEE - Delores J. Arnott, 78, of 1059 Parkwood Drive, Nappanee, died at 2 p.m. March 5, 2007, in The Maples, Goshen.

She was born Dec. 10, 1928, in Kosciusko County, to William and Bertha Stahly Kurtz. On Oct. 19, 1947, in Nappanee, she married Richard Arnott, who survives.

A lifetime area resident, she was a 1946 Nappanee High School graduate and retired from Wa-Nee School Corp. after 23 years as secretary at Nappanee Middle School. She was a member of First Brethren Church, Nappanee.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. LaDoit (Donna) Hollar, Milford, and Mrs. Keith (Doreen) Lambright, Shipshewana; a son, Dennis Arnott, Seminole, Fla.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Howard Kurtz, Nappanee. She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Brethren Church, Nappanee, with Pastor Tom Schiefer officiating. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.

Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.
