Cindy Decker and Todd VanKersen were married Aug. 29, 2007, in Cable Beach, Bahamas, with the Rev. A. Dewitt Hutcheson officiating. The bride is the daughter of Billy and Ruth Sitts and the late Janie Sitts. The groom is the son of Donna Griffin and the late Robert Griffin and the late George and Charlene VanKersen.

The bride is employed by Zimmer. She is a graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School.

The groom is employed by the Galesburg School System. He is a graduate of Galesburg High School.

The couple were married and honeymooned in the Bahamas. A reception was held at the couple's home in Middlebury.[[In-content Ad]]

On a night where the Warsaw football team was honored before the game, another Tiger team with high expectations going into the season made its 2024 debut. The Warsaw boys basketball team tipped the season off at the Tiger Den against Columbia City, and after battling for the better part of the game, the home side pulled away in the final minutes to win the opener 62-53.
