Gary Gerard's News Views in the weekend paper (May 15 & 16), "Too Much Debt," needs to reach the people in Washington, all of the major TV networks and the AARP. All of those people are either oblivious to the truth, or simply unwilling to admit that the Washington fiasco is sending us down the tubes. What is the best way to transmit this article to them?
This week we received the May 2010 issue of The AARP Bulletin. It offers a "User's Guide to Health Care Reform," and lists "10 Things You Need to Know about the New Law." Number 10 states that it "Keeps Medicare financially sound for nearly 10 more years and reduces the U.S. deficit by an estimated $143 billion." Of course, they get their information straight from Washington.
If only there were a few more Gary Gerards and Glenn Becks to get the real word out.
