NORTH MANCHESTER - Debra Renee Powers, 53, of Roann, died at 8:39 a.m. July 27, 2007, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

She was born June 7, 1954, in Wyandotte, Mich, to N.C. Spears and Myrtle Louis Davis, who both preceded her in death. On July 6, 1974, she married Patrick T. Powers who survives.

She was a homemaker and a bank teller for Security Bank in Michigan, and the former Indiana Lawrence Bank, North Manchester. She was a member of Church of Christ, North Manchester. She graduated from Robachud High School in 1972 and attended Ferris State College and Wayne County Community College, both in Michigan.

Also surviving are a son, Kyle N. Powers; a daughter, Katie R. Powers, both of Roann; three sisters, Sandy Eastorling; Mrs. Jim (Daleta) Blan, Taylor, Mich.; and Mrs. Jack (Sherri) Capehart, Traverse City, Mich.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Church of Christ, 1001 Ind. 13, North Manchester, with Patrick T. Powers officiating. Burial will be in Lynwood Cemetery, Traverse City, Mich.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Delaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester.
