Debra Kay Mayer, 57, of 1306 Timon Drive, Warsaw, died at 2 a.m. Feb. 18, 2010, in her residence.

She was born July 22, 1952, in Warsaw, to Robert F. and Eleanora Finton Cremeens. On Dec 24, 1969, she married Steven James Mayer, who survives.

A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, she was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Community Church, Warsaw. She enjoyed her cats, gardening, sewing and Goodwill shopping.

Also surviving are a son, Steve Mayer, Lima, Ohio; a daughter, Missy Mayer, Warsaw; a granddaughter, Breanna Mayer, Warsaw; and a sister, Sharon (and spouse Chuck) Bodenhafter, Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with Pastor Doug Lemon officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
