NAPPANEE – Dean Spicher, 76, of Milford, died at 3:50 p.m. Sept. 27, 2011, in Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Milford.

He was born Oct. 11, 1934, to Earl and Ethel Beverly Spicher. On April 6, 1972, in Warsaw, he married Mary Johnson, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Dee Ann Wright and Debra (and spouse James) Bear, all of Columbia City; a stepson, Ben (and spouse Forretta) Liniger, Milford; two stepdaughters, Betsy Morse, Littleton, Colo., and Vicki (and spouse Andy) Bishop, Kilauea, Hawaii; five grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Fran Andrews, Nappanee; brothers, Nevil “Spike” (and spouse Shirley) Spicher, Nappanee, and Kerry (and spouse Carolyn) Spicher, Dunlap. He was preceded in death by a sister, brother and several stepsisters and stepbrothers.

A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with the Rev. Otto Beer officiating. Burial will be in South Union Cemetery.

Calling is one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
