Dawn E. Hoffman, 62, Winona Lake, died at 9:35 a.m. March 28, 2008, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

She was born Jan. 3, 1946, in Algona, Iowa, to Louis and Beatrice Saatoff Dogotch. On June 27, 1986, in Warsaw, she married James G. Hoffman, who survives.

She moved to the Warsaw area in 1986 from Janesville, Wis. She was a controller for Spartech Industries for 16 years, retiring in 2005. A graduate of Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, she was an avid golfer, gardener, a lover of animals and a passionate grandmother to her five granddaughters.

Also surviving are two sons, Kent (and spouse Amy) Paul, Byron, Ill., and Kevin (and spouse Rachel) Paul, Warsaw; five grandchildren: Kassandra and Abigail Paul, Byron; Chandler, Karlee and Kennedie Paul, Warsaw; and a brother, Donald Dogotch, Anaheim Hills, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Rod Valentine officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
