SYRACUSE - David R. Frost, 80, of North Webster, died April 26, 2010, in his residence.

He was born June 3, 1929, in Lansing, Mich., to Donald and Lucille McGee Frost. On May 27, 1950, in Macon, Ga., he married Margaret E. Alligood, who died May 2, 2002.

He graduated in 1947 from Everett High School, Lansing. He retired in 1985 from Montgomery Ward, Fort Wayne, and was a self-employed mortgage broker. He moved to North Webster in 2005, from Fort Wayne, where he lived since 1979. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of North Webster American Legion Post 253, and was a former member of Bethany United Methodist Church and Central Lions Club, both in Fort Wayne.

Surviving are a daughter, Lindsey (and spouse Ken) Argerbright, North Webster; a son, Michael Frost, Flat Rock, Mich.; two grandchildren; and a sister, Donna Lou (and spouse Robert) Erikson, Libertyville, Ill.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with the Rev. David Smitley officiating. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.

Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
