LIGONIER – David “Lawrence” Kistler, 69, Syracuse, passed away Feb. 8, 2014, following a brief illness.
He was born Feb. 12, 1944, to Virgil and Anna Priest Kistler. On Aug. 31, 1962, he married Suzanne Knepper, who survives.
He retired as the sexton of Sparta Cemetery, Kimmell, after many years of faithful service. He was a bus driver for Wawasee Community Schools for 17 years and had also worked with his father-in-law, Herald Knepper, in Knepper Construction for many years.
