MENTONE - David L. Bryant, 95, of 511 E. Main St., Mentone, and formerly of the Akron area, died at 1:40 p.m. Nov. 16, 2010, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

He was born Sept. 1, 1915, in Talma, to Estle L. and Mary E. Nellans Bryant. On Feb. 2, 1944, in South Bend, he married Ann Sobecki, whosurvives.

He worked for 32 years for Sealed Power, Rochester, retiring in 1980, and was a farmer. He graduated from Akron High School in 1933. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America as well as the former 221 Local Auto Workers Union.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mary Jo (and spouse Gary) Dixon, Valparaiso; two sons, James (and spouse Karen) Bryant, Rochester, and Robert (and spouse Sue) Bryant, Pendleton; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Landis, Leesburg, and Jean Ellis, Akron.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at King Memorial Home, Mentone, with the Rev. Amber Karkosky-Litten officiating. Burial will be in Nichols Cemetery, Akron.

Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
