BOURBON – David Klingerman, 66, died Jan. 7, 2012, in Palm Bay, Fla.

His wife, Sharon, survives.

After graduating from Etna Green High School in 1963, he joined the U.S. Air Force and served four years. He then went to college in Minnesota where he earned a degree in recreation. He worked for the City of Bloomington, Minn., for more than 20 years as the recreational director. He retired early because of health issues and moved to Florida.

Also surviving are a son, Jim; a daughter, Kim; a sister, Kay Feldman, Bourbon; and a brother, Terry Klingerman, Portland, Ore.
