He was born March 30, 1935, in Fort Wayne, to George and Ruth David Perrin. On Dec. 27, 1957, he married Mary Jane Heisler, who survives.
He was a resident of Warsaw most of his life but had lived in Etna Green and Bourbon the past several years. He retired from Dalton Foundry, Warsaw, in 1993. He was a faithful member of Bourbon Bible Church. Other interests included fishing, bowling and wood cutting. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion, both in Warsaw.
Also surviving are a daughter, Deborah (and spouse Phillip Jr.) Paseka, Warsaw; three sons: David M. Perrin, Etna Green; Dennis A. Perrin, Argos; and Greg G. (and spouse Colleen) Perrin, Fort Myers, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sally Hile, Beverly Hills, Fla.; and a brother, Fred (and spouse Bea) Perrin, Bluffton. He was preceded in death by a sister; Linda Marshall, and a brother, Larry Gill.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon, with Pastor Larry Goss officiating. Burial will be in Etna Green Cemetery, with graveside military services.
Calling is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
