MILFORD - David Franklin Hart, 77, of Milford, died at 10:08 p.m. April 8, 2008, in Goshen General Hospital.

He was born July 4, 1930, in Kosciusko County, to Kenneth and Opal Schooly Hart. In 1950, he married Doris Maxine Fisher, who died in 2004.

A lifetime area resident, he lived at Lakeland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center for the past two years. He was a retired truck driver for International Multi-Foods (Super Sweet Division), Nappanee.

Surviving are three sons: Dennis Lee (and spouse Joanne) Hart, Bourbon; Edward A. Hart, Milford; and Ted (and spouse Kelly) Hart, Rochester; four grandchildren; a great-grandson; two brothers, Russell (and spouse Reatha) Hart, Mentone, and Jack (and spouse Barbara) Hart, Nappanee; and two sisters, Helen Michael, Fort Myers Beach, Fla., and Linda (and spouse Ralph) Penrod, Pierceton. He was preceded in death by three brothers.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hepton Union Cemetery, Nappanee.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Milford.
