Rodney and Wilma Davenport will mark their 60th wedding anniversary Oct. 16, 2008. Rodney Davenport and Wilma Thomas were married Oct. 16, 1948, at Grace Methodist Church, South Bend.

The couple have 12 children, 34 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate the anniversary by hosting a family reception Oct. 18.
