NORTH WEBSTER - Daniel G. "Dan" Laub, 73, of Syracuse, died at 3:30 a.m. Sept. 10, 2010, at Miller's Merry Manor, Syracuse.

He was born Aug. 21, 1937, in Elwood, to George and Bertha H. Noone Laub. On March 4, 1961, in Elwood, he married Sandra A. "Sandy" Beasley, who survives.

He graduated in 1955 from Wendell Wilkie High School, Elwood, and attended St. Joe College, Rensselaer, and Marian College, Indianapolis. He was a United States Air Force veteran. He moved to Syracuse in 1974 from Elwood and retired in 2002 as co-owner/operator of Triangle Drafting Supply, Mishawaka, after 28 years. He was a member of St. Martin De Porres Catholic Parish, Syracuse.

Also surviving are four daughters: Vikki (and spouse Jim) Hall, Cicero; Angie (and spouse John) Ferguson, Elburn, Ill.; Marcy (and H.B. Evans) Laub, Dulce, N.M.; and Daniele (and Rick Straczek) Laub, Chicago, Ill.; four grandchildren; a sister, Sue Courtney, Elwood; and a brother, Jerry Laub, Elwood.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Martin de Porres with Father Richard Hire officiating. Private family burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.

Calling is from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster.
