The Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 210 S. High St., will have a church-wide series for all ages this summer on ‘Daniel.” The series will begin June 3 and run through Aug. 12.
First of all, the sermons will focus on the book of Daniel, chapters 1-6. Surrounded by pagan practices and heathen influences, Daniel stood firm in his faith in God and so did his three companions. Learn how the faith and integrity of these four courageious young men can relate to circumstances in today’s world.
Secondly, “Daniel in Babylon” is the only adult Sunday school class offered during the summer months in the fellowship hall classroom, led by Gus Sideris. Come and learn more about the unbelievable stories from this period of time and discuss your thoughts about the morning’s sermon. Sit and just listen, or speak up.
And lastly, “Babylon, Daniel’s Courage in Captivity,” is for kids of all ages and families every Sunday morning during the worship servies and the Sunday school hour. Come for one hour or two. Enter Babylon at the city gate (gym) and see, hear, touch and even taste what is was like to live in an exotic, strange country. Explore the Marketplace shops, visit Daniel in the Palace Room, play games in the Royal Playground, sing and dance at the Celebration Courtyard, and sample tasty tidbits at the Food Court.
This summer’s adventure is for those who know the Bible and for those who don’t. You’ll be encouraged and challeneged to hear how God miraculously worked in the lives of those who worshipped Him, the one true God, during Bible times and how He will work in our lives now if we love and trust Him.
Bring the family and join them this summer.

The Benefits Of A Data Center In Agriculture And Economic Growth
Editor, Times-Union: I’ve heard folks say I have prime farmland. What I haven’t heard mentioned are the eleven towers scattered across it - eleven towers that you have to till, plant, and harvest around. Heaven forbid you hit one. Planes that spray my fields can’t hit the full area because of these obstacles. I’ve got four irrigation units running to irrigate the best I can, where normally two would suffice.
