Dale D. Kindig, 72, of Warsaw, passed away at 6:49 p.m. Dec. 14, 2011, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

He was born Nov. 26, 1939, in Kosciusko County, to Lester C. and Reathel Herrell Kindig. On Dec. 4, 1960, in Warsaw, he married Betty Ellen Eisaman, who survives.

He retired from R.R. Donnelly and Sons as a supervisor after 43 years of service. He was a member of Warsaw Masonic Lodge F&AM 73; Fort Wayne Valley Scottish Rite; Mizpah Shrine Temple, Fort Wayne; SAMSAR Club; Mizpah Shrine; Kosciusko County Shrine Club; KOSKO Gun Club, Warsaw; and a life member of Warsaw Rifle and Pistol Club; the National Rifle Association; and Warsaw American Legion Post 49. He faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army from 1958-59 as an intelligence specialist (SP 4) in Korea.

Also surviving are a son, Tony (and spouse April) Kindig, Carmel; a daughter, Susan Kindig (and spouse Frank Kasper), Carmel; a sister, Bonnie Hile, Mentone; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ronnie Kindig; and a sister,  Wilma Prater.

Services and burial will be private.

McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
