FORT WAYNE – Cynthia Ann Rohlfing, 52, of Fort Wayne, died  March 14, 2012, in Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.

She was born Sept. 16, 1959, in Fort Wayne, to Earl J. and Genevieve Louise Kestner Thurston. On Dec. 28, 1985, in Warsaw, she married Robert Allen Rohlfing, who survives.

She graduated from Lakeland Christian Academy, Warsaw, in 1978 and Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising. She was a real estate agent for Coldwell-Banker, Roth Wehrly Graber, Fort Wayne,  for the past 10 years. She also was the librarian at International Business College, Fort Wayne, for the past 10 years.

She was a dedicated and active member of The Chapel, Fort Wayne, where she organized and began the church library. She was very involved in the lives of the youth of the church. She would host Bible study in her home and would be a part of youth group activities for the past nine years.

Also surviving are a son, Brock Rohlfing, Fort Wayne; a daughter, Ashley Rohlfing, Fort Wayne; a stepdaughter, Amber (and spouse Chuck) Dippon, Warsaw; step-grandchildren: Brady, Ciara and Hunter,  all of Warsaw; two brothers, Timothy Thurston and David (and spouse Diane) Thurston, all of Fort Wayne; and three sisters, Kathy Winters, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Pamela Shimer and Debra Thurston Meeks, both of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Thomas Thurston, who died March 20, 1972.

Services will be at noon Saturday at The Chapel, 2505 W. Hamilton Road South, Fort Wayne, with Pastor Brandon Holler officiating. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.

Calling is from 3 to 7 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service Saturday at The Chapel.

Northern Indiana Funeral Care of Fort Wayne is in charge of arrangements.
