NORTH MANCHESTER - Curtis E. Falk Sr., 82, of North Manchester, died at 1:10 p.m. Jan. 6, 2008, in Rolling Meadows Healthcare Center, LaFontaine.

He was born July 27, 1925, in Marysville, Kan., to Gustuf and Lizzy Miller Falk. On July 16, 1955, he married Gloria Machek, who survives.

He was quality control manager at Eaton Controls, North Manchester, for 42 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of St. Robert's Catholic Church and American Legion Post 286, both in North Manchester. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-46.

Also surviving are two sons, Curtis Jr. (and spouse Ginny) Falk, North Manchester, and Mark (and spouse Kimberly) Falk, Warsaw; two daughters, Janet (and spouse Ken) Weaver, Fort Wayne, and Judy Houlihan, Denver, Ind.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Father Ronald Ramenaden officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
