Gay Gundersen Watson, Decatur, announces the engagement of her daughter, Melissa Crouch, to Ryan Aaron Dotson. He is the son of  Sharon Dotson-Conley, Akron.

The bride-to-be is an assessment specialist at Parkview Behavioral Health, Fort Wayne. She graduated from Kingman (Ariz.) High School in 1996,  earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Saint Francis in 2007 and a master’s degree in psychology from the University of Saint Francis in 2010.

The groom-elect is a mental health technician at Parkview Behavioral Health, Fort Wayne. He graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School, Akron, in 1999, and earned a degree in adult disciplinary from Indiana University in 2001.
