Steve and the former Madonna “Susy” Nellans were married on the evening of Dec. 14, 1963, at Atwood’s Evangelical United Brethren Church (now Otterbein United Methodist Church) by the Rev. Stephen Gubi.
The couple have two daughters, Angela (and spouse Rick) Winfield, Florissant, Mo., and Amy (and spouse Rick) Harrison, Charlotte, N.C. They also have four granddaughters, three grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
