Allen and Sherri Coy, Syracuse, announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Coy, Indianapolis, to Adam Lovely, Indianapolis. He is the son of Lee and Kim Schlundt, Goshen, and Eugene Neil Lovely, Elkhart.

The bride-to-be is a registered nurse at Clarian Health, Indianapolis. She graduated from Wawasee High School, Syracuse, in 2001, and earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Ball State University in 2006. She is currently enrolled at Walden University for her master's degree in nursing informatics and will graduate in December 2011.

The groom-elect is a civilian employee for the Indiana State Police, Indianapolis. He graduated from Goshen High School in 2000.

The couple plan an October 2011 wedding.
