County Hires Director For Computer Mapping

William J. Holder, of Knoxville, Tenn., will begin work May 11 as Kosciusko County's new Geographic Information Specialist (GIS).
Holder is currently employed as GIS for the Metropolitan Planning Commission in Knoxville, where he has worked since November 1992.
In addition, he taught introductory geography classes at Roane State Community College, Harriman, Tenn., and Appalachian State University, Boone, Tenn.
He holds a master's degree in geography from Appalachian State University and a bachelor's degree in geography from the University of South Alabama.
He is replacing Norm Bowman, who moved back to his hometown in Kansas City, Mo. [[In-content Ad]]
