County Councilman Teghtmeyer Files for Re-election

Teghtmeyer has served three terms as a county councilman at-large. He previously served as first-district councilman.
The councilman said he has a long-standing interest in the economic health and well being of the Kosciusko community and the delivery of quality county government services at a reasonable cost.
“(I’ve) worked diligently with office holders and budgets to maintain sound economic policies,” said Teghtmeyer in a statement provided to the Times-Union. “The result has been that Kosciusko County is one of the most financially stable and low-tax counties in the state.”
Teghtmeyer is a lifetime member of the community and local business owner of Teghtmeyer Ace Hardware stores.
He currently is a council appointment to the Kosciusko County Redevelopment Commission and the county wage committee.
Past community involvement includes serving on the board of directors of Kosciusko Development Inc., Warsaw/Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce and Cardinal Center as well as being involved with and supporting numerous community organizations and charities.
Teghtmeyer said he believes his vast and and long-term business experience and knowledge of county government allows him to make important decisions, which are critical to the well being of the community.
Teghtmeyer and his wife, Cathy, reside near TippecanoeâLake and are members of Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
Teghtmeyer is one of three at-large council members running for re-election along with Robert Sanders and Thomas Anglin.
Five others are also seeking one of the three at-large seats.
Jon Fussle, Joshua Bartman, Robert Beer, Sean Boylan and Lee Ann Brown are also seeking those seats.
Bartman and Brown are running as Democrats while the other six candidates are running as Republicans.[[In-content Ad]]
