Corbitt "Corby" Hollon, 76, of 6403 W. CR 800S, Claypool, died at 11:50 a.m. April 29, 2008, in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.

He was born Oct. 15, 1931, in Breathitt County, Ky., to Floyd and Virgie Smith Hollon. On Aug. 20, 1971, he married Marie McCloughan, who survives.

Living in Kosciusko County most of his life, he retired as an inspector at Zimmer and was a member of Moose Lodge, Warsaw.

Also surviving are three sons: Eugene (and spouse Marilyn) Hollon, Crawfordsville; James Hollon, Claypool; and Scott (and spouse Marie) Hollon, Arizona; two daughters, Lori (and spouse Mike) Schroeder, Colorado, and Kim (and spouse Richard) Thompson, Arizona; five stepchildren: Cheryl (and spouse Mark) Brunner, Warsaw; Deb Jackson and Billy Sroufe, both of Claypool; Steven (and spouse Patty) Sroufe, Texas; and Jim Jackson; two sisters, Elena (and spouse Bill) Dye, Ohio, and Delois Hollon, Texas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with James Smith officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery.

Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
