Walter and Nancy Corbin, North Webster, announce the engagement of their daughter, Ann Corbin, North Webster, to Matthew G. Goebel, Selma. He is the son of Sue and Greg Goebel, Selma.

The bride-to-be is a 1998 graduate of Wawasee High School and a 2002 graduate of Anderson University. She is employed by Warsaw Community Church.

The groom-elect is a 2000 graduate of Wapahani High School and a 2004 graduate of Ball State University. He is employed by Warsaw Community Church.

The couple plan an Aug. 9 wedding.
