She was born Nov. 26, 1914, in Wabash, to Thomas and Alice Martin Sivits. On April 20, 1957, in South Bend, she married Edward “Eddie” Szlanfucht, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Norma Jean (and spouse Clifford) Linn, Pierceton; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; and a brother. She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
No services or calling are planned. Cremation will take place at Elkhart Cremation Services.
Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
