Conley vs. Fussle

It's seems to me that things are getting out of hand in this primary season.
On one hand you have Bob Conley, a man I've known for 20 years and consider him honest and hard working. He's been doing the county commissioner job with no allegations of wrongdoing I’m aware of and I've also never read any of his positions or votes criticized in the letters to the editor I’ve seen.
Yet on the other hand Fussle supporters say I should support Fussle because he's a nice guy that they've gone to church with and will be transparent, but evidently an organization he’s president of had problems paying its bills. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for allowing him to decide financial matters for the county. Oh yeah, I almost forgot he’s a pilot, too, that's another reason to support him.
I spent 23 years in the Air National Guard, seven years as a guardsman and 16 as an active duty member and I can unequivocally tell you that pilots can be some the biggest egotistical jerks you'd ever want to meet and not a factor in choosing a candidate for anything except maybe if you were hiring a pilot.
Bottom line: If the incumbent hasn’t been guilty of any malfeasance and has done their job well, you re-elect them, which is what I'm urging my fellow Republicans to do. Vote Bob Conley May 6 (and no Bob doesn't know I was going to write this as I haven't cut my hair since I retired from the military in 2010).
