Congresswoman Walorski To Host Fraud Prevention Presentation In Syracuse

SYRACUSE – Second District Congresswoman Jackie Walorski will host a fraud protection presentation Aug. 29 in Syracuse.
The presentation will be at 10 a.m. at Miller’s Merry Manor, 500 E. Pickwick Drive, Syracuse.
The event will provide information on the latest scams to inform seniors on ways they can protect their personal information from identity theft.
“I look forward to raising awareness for senior citizens and Hoosier families about fraud and identity theft protection,” said Walorski. “This presentation provides an educational opportunity to highlight various types of fraud that continue to target innocent citizens in an effort to increase public safety in our communities.”
Walorski’s office today announced that a member of her staff will hold office hours from 9 a.m. to noon  Wednesday at Syracuse Town Hall, 310 N. Huntington St., to assist constituents with casework and official business.
Residents who cannot attend the listed office hours are encouraged to contact Brian Spaulding at 574-780-1330 to schedule an appointment.
