By Staff Report-

The Center Street Community Theatre announced plans for a spring 2015 production of “Almost, Maine” by John Cariani.
Performances are scheduled for March 20, 21 and 22 at the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts.
Auditions will be Dec. 3 and 4, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the basement fellowship hall of the Warsaw First United Methodist Church. Callbacks will be Dec. 5, at the same time and location.
The cast of “Almost, Maine” will include approximately 10 adults of varying ages  (five men, five women), with some members playing more than one role. The audition format will be “cold reading,” in which participants read directly from the script, rather than preparing monologues. Theatrical resumes are welcome, or background forms will be available.
Those interested in reading the script before auditions may visit the Warsaw Community Public Library. Scripts will be available to read, but may not be checked out.
"I think the community will really enjoy this play," said Phil Herbruck, director and member of the theatre's leadership team. “It’s touching, it’s incredibly funny, and it’s very unique. Each scene tells its own story, but they are thematically related – similar to the film ‘Love, Actually.’”
The Center Street Community Theatre is the most recent addition to the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts’ initiatives. The community theater’s first production, “You Can’t Take It With You,” was performed at the Wagon Wheel Theatre in October.
