The Kosciusko County Community Foundation announced the availability of four new scholarships. The application deadline for each is Tuesday

The Brady Houck Memorial Scholarship was created in memory of Brady Houck, who would have graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 2007. Brady enjoyed playing high school football, racing go-karts and automotive work. Following his death in a traffic accident, Brady's family and friends established this scholarship to assist a Warsaw student.

The Kenneth and Cecile Parks Memorial Scholarship for Nursing was established by Gerald and Sherry Smalley to provide assistance to needy and deserving graduates of Tippecanoe Valley High School and of Warsaw Community High School who are seeking degrees in the field of nursing.

The Richard and Gladys Stewart Nursing Scholarship was established through the Stewart Family Trust, created by Richard and Gladys Stewart, to provide financial support to students entering programs for training and education as nurses. The Stewarts were proud of their two nieces who became nurses.

The Barbara Arnold Todaro Scholarship was established by the Todaro family in loving memory of their wife and mother, Barbara. Todaro was a 1948 Warsaw High School graduate. She studied history and literature in college. This one-time award will provide assistance to a female graduate of Warsaw Community High School who plans to study literature or history in college.

Scholarship information and downloadable applications are available at the Community Foundatio's Web site, www.kcfoundation.org or by visiting the Foundation office at 102 E. Market St., Warsaw.[[In-content Ad]]
