Community Canoeing Set For Tuesday

Warsaw Parks and Recreation will have free community canoeing days Tuesday and Aug. 23.
The Tuesday canoe is at Center Lake Beach from 11  a.m. to 3 p.m. No registration is required.  
Meet at the east side of the swimming pier, behind the pavilion. An annual waiver and rules sheet must be signed by each participant (must  be signed by parent for anyone under age 18).
Parks and Recreation staff will be available to assist with basic skills and proper equipment use.  Canoes are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be used in timeD increments. All equipment and life vests are provided.  All participants will be briefed on safety measures prior to canoeing.  All canoeing will be supervised by department staff.
The last Community Canoeing day for the summer is Aug. 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Center Lake Beach.
