Mr. and Mrs. Charles Collier, Pierceton, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary at home with family.

Charles Collier and Valda Vere Fruit were married Feb. 14, 1946, near Warsaw, at the home of the bride's parents, Frank and Ruth Fruit, by the Rev. Edmind Lindsay.

Charles owned Collier Oil Co. for 36 years and Valda was a homemaker.

They are the parents of eight children: Jim (and spouse Linda) Collier and Lewis (and spouse Terri) Collier, all of Warsaw; Sharon (and spouse Harold) Lehman, Chuck (and spouse Lise) Collier and Tim (and spouse Deborah) Collier, all of Pierceton; Colleen (and spouse Mike) Trueblood, North Manchester; Marsha (and spouse Greg) Holmes, Angola; and Mark Collier, Sidney; 26 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.
