SYRACUSE – Colleen A. Schwalm, 58, of Syracuse, died Dec. 7, 2012, in her residence.
She was born Dec. 11, 1953, in Goshen, to Harry L. and Peggy Nolan Coy.
A lifetime Syracuse area resident, she graduated in 1972 from Wawasee High School. She worked at Crossroads Bank, Syracuse, for eight years and formerly worked at Goshen Auto Electric, State Bank of Syracuse and was a waitress. She formerly attended Calvary United Methodist Church, Syracuse, and was a former member of American Legion Post 223 Auxiliary, Syracuse.
Surviving are a son, Ryan (and spouse Nicole) Schwalm, Syracuse; a step-grandson, Austin Bickel; her mother, Peggy Felts, Syracuse; a sister, Nancy Feaster, Syracuse; and a brother, Barry Coy, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her father and her stepfather.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse. Private burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
